BTS visited the White House and met with U.S. President Joe Biden.

“It was great to meet with you, BTS,” Biden said on his official Twitter account on May 31st (local time). “Thanks for all you’re doing to raise awareness around the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination. I look forward to sharing more of our conversation soon,” he said, tagging BTS’s official account.

In addition, a short attached video showed BTS visiting the White House and meeting with President Biden. BTS wore a bright smile in their neat black suit and tie.

First of all, Biden welcomed BTS and said, “This is an important month here in America. A lot of our Asian American friends have been subjected to real discrimination,” he said. “Hate only hides when good people talk about it and say how bad it is, it goes down.”
