aespa revealed more about each member in a recent interview.
On December 27th, a video titled “The Reality of aespa Revealed by aespa Members” was posted on the official YouTube channel of Harper’s Bazaar Korea.
In the released video, aespa members Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning mentioned who fits the answer of each question. Karina mentioned herself as the member who looks at the mirror the most, and Ningning pointed out herself as the member who searches her name the most, saying, “I search my name about 20 to 25 times a day.”
Winter talked about her love for checkered-patterns, “I was taking a walk alone and bought another one in Garosu-gil red coloured checkered pattern,” she also said, “Karina unnie’s outfits are the most normal (?) ones. We three of us, when we go for the practice, we just wear trainingwear. But Karina wear knitwear and jeans.”
Giselle pointed out herself as the slowest member in learning dance, and said, “For the dance, it’s me, because I had the shortest training period. I will work hard,” she said, “But I can memorise lyrics very fast.” Karina then pointed to Giselle as a member who has improved the most since her debut, and praised her, saying, “Giselle started to have more confidence and started to have better performance manner.”
Winter then revealed she had a hard time as the only ‘I’ (introverted) surrounded by ‘E’s(extroverted). “I am always not that ‘extreme.’ I tend to keep the balance. It’s harsh,” she said. Ningning mentioned Winter as a member gave the biggest impression, and Karina pointed out Ningning as the one who needs care the most by saying, “Who we need to take care.”
In addition, Giselle pointed out Karina as a member with a lot of aegyo and made Karina act cute, and Karina then pointed out Winter as a member who has the best acting skill when filming music videos. She explained, “She uses guns to shoot. She’s responsible for the acting like that.” After that Winter revealed that Giselle and she borrow outfits most often as roommates because they have similar tastes.
Meanwhile, aespa released its new song “Dreams Come True” on December 20th.
