On April 20, the production team of tvN’s new weekend drama Filing for Love held an online press conference. Director Lee Soo Hyun and cast members including Shin Hye Sun, Gong Myung, Kim Jae Wook, and Hong Hwa Yeon attended the event.

Filing for Love is a close-contact audit romance that follows Joo In Ah (played by Shin Hye Sun), a charismatic head of the audit office who hides a secret, and Noh Ki Joon (played by Gong Myung), a top auditor who is suddenly demoted to handling workplace misconduct cases.

When asked why she chose the project, Shin Hye Sun candidly responded, “I really liked The Art of Sarah, but it was quite dark. There were things I wanted to shake off, both professionally and personally. I wanted to do a brighter, lighter drama.”

She added, “Right after The Art of Sarah ended, I was able to start filming Filing for Love. The timing was perfect it felt like the right project came to me at just the right moment.” Her words reflected a strong sense of satisfaction with her decision.

The first episode of Filing for Love is set to premiere on April 25 at 9:10 PM.
