Footage from aespa’s ongoing tour has ignited backlash online, with fans expressing growing concern over the group’s apparent exhaustion especially member Winter. The videos, which have already surpassed 80,000 views across Korean platforms, have gone viral not for the performances themselves, but for the alarmingly drained state of the idols.
In fan-captured clips and photos from recent shows, all four members of aespa appear noticeably fatigued. However, netizens zeroed in on Winter, noting she looked particularly unwell her movements slower and her energy significantly dimmed.

A post on Korean forum Pann summed up the mood: “All three of them look tired, but Winter looks unbelievably drained.”
The concern is amplified by Winter’s recent absence from a concert stop due to illness, with fans recalling her prior health struggles, including pneumothorax surgery last year. Many are now questioning SM Entertainment’s management of the group’s schedule, arguing that the relentless pace of concerts, international flights, recordings, and promotions is compromising their health.

Online reactions have been swift and divided:
“They look so worn out. SM needs to stop this madness.”
“Being sick on tour is the worst because you can’t even rest properly. It just gets worse.”
“They look like that and still earn tens of billions of won how is that professional?”
“This schedule is too much. Let them breathe!”
The criticism has reignited broader discussions in the K-pop industry about artist welfare, burnout, and the pressure to maintain nonstop visibility. While aespa continues to shine on stage, fans are urging the label to prioritize recovery time before temporary fatigue becomes lasting damage.
