BTS’s Suga Under Police Investigation For Electric Scooter Drunk Driving
BTS's Suga is being investigated by the police as he was found falling while riding an electric scooter after drinking alcohol
On August 7th, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station stated that they have been investigating BTS’s Suga on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (Drunk Driving).
According to the police, Suga was found falling by himself while riding an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol in Yongsan-gu the previous day.
A police officer approached to help Suga after he fell and noticed the smell of alcohol so they took him to a nearby district police station.
Suga enlisted in the Nonsan Training Center in Chungnam in March to receive basic military training and is currently serving as a social service worker. His scheduled discharge date is June 2025.
Electric scooters can only be used by those over 16 years old and those with a motor license or higher license. Electric scooter riders must wear a helmet and are not allowed to ride when their blood alcohol concentration level is 0.03% or higher.
