“Serious Harm to Byeon Woo-seok” Agency Warns of Legal Action
Actor Byeon Woo-seok's popularity is soaring. Accordingly, Byeon Woo-seok's agency issued a notice to prevent safety accidents in advance
On May 30th, Byeon Woo-seok’s agency Varo Entertainment stated, “Recently, during the artist’s activities, crowds have caused disorder and safety concerns. In the case of private schedules, unauthorized visits by some fans have caused significant harm to both the artist and the event organizers. We ask fans to refrain from visiting unofficial schedule locations outside of publicly announced events.”
They continued, “During visits to official schedule locations, to prevent safety accidents due to crowding, we earnestly request that fans refrain from actions such as closely approaching the artist or directly handing letters and gifts. For safety reasons, please deliver letters or gifts only to the manager in charge.“
The agency also warned, “Following the artist’s vehicle after schedules, unauthorized visits and filming at private spaces, and illegal acquisition of personal information are strictly prohibited as they can infringe on the artist’s privacy. Such actions may lead to severe legal consequences.”
Byeon Woo-seok recently rose to stardom through tvN’s drama “Lovely Runner”. “Lovely Runner” follows Ryu Seon-jae (Byeon Woo-seok), a famous idol who passed away under suspicious circumstances, purportedly by suicide, and Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon), a fervent fan thrown into a serious crisis by his death. The latter is inadvertently given the chance to go back to the past to save Seon-jae and herself.
