Famous Male Singer Investigated for Stealing at Convenience Store

A well-known male singer was caught stealing from a convenience store and was caught red-handed, drawing attention.

On May 24, Wikitree reported that singer G.Soul was caught stealing alcohol at a convenience store in Gangseo, Seoul, South Korea. The incident occurred at 11 PM (KST) on April 19. The police stated that G.Soul was intoxicated at the time of his arrest.

After committing the theft, G.Soul left the country. The police announced that they will soon summon the singer for investigation regarding the incident. As of now, neither G.Soul nor his management company has commented on the theft allegations.

G.Soul, born in 1988, participated in an SBS television program in 2001 and was chosen by Park Jin-young, the CEO of JYP Entertainment. He then became a trainee at JYP Entertainment and officially debuted in 2015. During his time with JYP, G.Soul was considered the company’s “secret weapon” and “ace.”

The singer has released many high-quality music products and collaborated with Jay Park on several tracks such as “H1GHR,” “Oscar,” and “Afternoon.” In 2021, G.Soul left JYP Entertainment to join Warner Music Korea. In his personal life, G.Soul publicly dated female idol Min (Miss A) at the end of 2016. However, the couple announced their breakup in March 2017.
