Jeon So-min expressed her honest thoughts on marriage.
On Sep 23rd, on the YouTube channel “Jeeseokjin World”, a video titled “Why don’t you have a boyfriend? | ‘Ji Seok-jin X Jeon So-min” was uploaded.
In this video, Ji Seok-jin said, “I’m going to do a content where I take someone home,” sharing that he would take Jeon So-min, who is also appearing in SBS’ “Running Man” with him, to Incheon Airport.
Ji Seok-jin mentioned the “Running Man” love line while driving and talking to Jeon So-min. Jeon So-min said, “Se-chan and I are nothing.” The two then said about another love line, which is of Kim Jong-kook and Song Ji-hyo, claiming, “They also have nothing.”
Jeon So-min said, “I can’t stop playing around because Se-chan’s reaction is fun, and Jae-seok and you are so funny that I can’t stand it. I hope you don’t misunderstand. Just Friend,” drawing the line.
She then said, “I think about that relationship a lot to entertain the viewers, but now I think I should let go of that relationship with Se-chan.” In response, Ji Seok-jin admired, saying, “You think of all that.”
Ji Seok-jin also asked, “Why don’t you have a boyfriend?” Jeon So-min said, “I don’t just date anyone. I used to just date someone if I liked them, but now I think more objectively and rationally,” she said.
She then said, “And if you don’t see each other for too long, your relationship becomes dull. I have to make time for a relationship, but I don’t have that time now whenever I asked myself to make such space in my schedule.”
When asked what her type is, So-min said, “They should be funny.” Jeon So-min said, “What I felt while doing ‘Running Man’ was how entertaining it is. I would welcome anyone if they have the same humour code as Haha, Jae-seok, and Seok-jin.”
Ji Seok-jin, who was praised, said, “Somin is really not an extravagant person. There is no actor that doesn’t have a car and takes the subway like her.” In response, Jeon So-min said, “I’m not good at driving,” adding, “It’s a choice now. I love being alone,” she added.
Jeon So-min also said, “We shouldn’t make marriage a duty. I think I used to have a sense of duty. After shaking off that sense of duty, I would get married if someone I love appeared, but now that position is vacant,” she said, adding, “I loved until I was in my 20s. Now, I’m tired of love,” she said slyly, making Ji laugh.
