Netizens Amazed as EXO’s Suho Looks Almost Identical to a Prince from Korea’s Joseon Era

EXO’s Suho, known for his prince-like visuals, actually resembles a prince from the Joseon era

Prince Yi U is referred to as the last prince of Korea’s Joseon Dynasty. Prince Yi U resisted marrying a Japanese woman, choosing instead to wed Lady Park Chan-ju, the daughter of a Korean nobleman.

Even though Prince Yi U remained loyal to his Korean roots, his fate took a tragic turn when he was compelled to serve in the Japanese army during the early 1930s amid Japan’s war against China. Tragically, his life was cut short during World War II when he was in Hiroshima during the bombing in 1945.

Although Prince Yi U did not succumb immediately, the bombing radiation-induced injuries led to his death less than a day later. Prince Yi U left behind a poignant legacy, having bid farewell to his family before his ill-fated departure to Japan.

Despite the limited visual records of the prince, fans of EXO and netizens have been astounded by the striking resemblance between Suho and Prince Yi U.
