BTOB Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Hyunsik and Peniel sign exclusive contracts with newly-established agency

BTOB joined hands with a newly-established agency

According to OSEN on Dec 18th, BTOB members Seo Eun-kwang, Lee Min-hyuk, Im Hyun-sik and Peniel signed exclusive contracts with a newly-established agency. While the name of the newly-established agency has not been confirmed yet, it is expected to be confirmed soon, and they plan to prioritize full-group activities for BTOB and provide comprehensive support.

BTOB concluded their 11-year relationship with their previous agency Cube Entertainment when their exclusive contract expired on Nov 6th. Cube Entertainment stated, “As the second exclusive contract with BTOB was approaching expiration, we carefully discussed with the members for a long time. As a result, we mutually agreed not to renew the contract.” They also expressed gratitude to BTOB and Melody (fanclub).

Debuting on March 21st, 2012, BTOB established themselves as a representative boy group of the third generation of K-pop with outstanding vocal abilities and music loved by the public. They released hit songs such as “Missing You”, “Wind And Wish”, “Only One For Me”, “The Song”, “Way Back Home” and “Beep Beep”, leaving a notable impact not only through full-group activities but also with solo activities.

After the expiration of the exclusive contract with Cube, member Lee Chang-sub signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio. On Nov 22nd, Fantagio announced the contract with Lee Chang-sub and stated, “Since he has a strong determination for group activities, we will coordinate and support to prioritize group activities in the future.“

Although BTOB’s full-group activities under one agency did not materialize, as all members are firmly committed to team activities, BTOB has proven their power. It is anticipated that they will showcase a new future for K-pop idols as they continue to work separately yet together.
