In the photos, Jennie, who is famous for her status as the “style icon” and “global It girl”, shows off her bold and unique fashion sense in a sexy backless outfit. She wore an open back white crop top that is tied with a white string, which looks pretty “dangerous” because if the string gets loose, her chest will be exposed. The outfit goes perfectly well with Jennie’s new peachy-orange hair that she just debuted recently. Jennie gives off unrivaled hip vibes that only she can exude.
What’s most surprising about Jennie’s backless top is its price tag. It is called Tea Towel Apron Top from Marine Serre and costs 530,000 won ($550). Marine Serre is a French luxury brand created by a young designer of the same name who used to work at Balenciaga. Marine Serre is famous for its designs that blur the boundaries between sportswear and daily wear.
The top that Jennie wore also has a meaning of environmental protection. It was made of 100% cotton tea towel, an upcycled fabric.
