Son Yeon-jae, who ambitiously opened a “rhythmic gymnastics academy”, revealed her business’ unexpected situation
Former national rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae, who was loved for her lovely image, revealed her daily life on SNS.
On Jan 11th, Son Yeon-jae uploaded several images on her Instagram along with a caption saying “2022 Jeju”.
In the photos, Son Yeon-jae boasts her beautiful and innocent appearance. Even though she is about to turn 30 soon, she still looks young like 20 years old.
After announcing her retirement in 2017, Son Yeon-jae established her own rhythmic gymnastics academy Leap Studio.
Starting the second chapter of her life as a businesswoman, she combined rhythmic gymnastics that is not easily accessible to the general public with popular songs and reinterpreted it in a trendy way, arousing curiosity from many people.
However, for a while, Son Yeon-jae’s academy faltered due to the pandemic.
Son Yeon-jae appeared on tvN’s <On & Off> in Nov 2020 and revealed her business’ difficulties, “I opened it because I wanted to do (rhythmic gymnastics), but there were too many things to take care of, from monthly rent to monthly salary. I had a difficult year due to COVID-19.”
Meanwhile, Son Yeon-jae once appeared on <Happy Together> when she was a popular player in the past. She shared, “I don’t know exactly how much I earn. My monthly allowance is also not fixed and I use it as I want.”
