Actress Han Hyo-joo made people laugh by emphasizing that she belongs to Generation MZ.
On January 21st, a video titled, “A business trip to the pirate ship that has adventure, action, comic, and romance, but no treasure (?)”, was uploaded in the “Business Trip Siboya” section of Youtube Channel “Channel Siboya (채널 십오야)”.
The cast of upcoming movie “The Pirates: Goblin Flag” set to be premiered on January 26th, including actors Kang Ha-neul, Han Hyo-joo, Lee Kwang-soo, Chae Soo-bin, Oh Se-hun, Kim Sung-oh, and Park Ji-hwan, joined the show together.
PD Na Young-seok said, “We will play a ‘Pirates’ scholarship quiz”, then released the questionnaire, which included a category called “Generation MZ’s taste for arts”. Kang Ha-neul laughed while saying, “I don’t know what Generation MZ is”. Han Hyo-joo was surprised. “You don’t know Generation MZ?”, she reacted. Oh Se-hun asked, “MZ are people born recently, rights?”, making everyone laugh with his funny pronunciation.
Han Hyo-joo said, “You are saying we’re not in the Generation MZ?”. Then, she pointed to other actors, such as Oh Se-hun, Chae Soo-bin, etc., and said, “You’re an MZ. I am an MZ, too”. In fact, Generation MZ is a generic term for Millennials and Z Generation people born from the early 1980s to the early 2000s.
Upon hearing this, Lee Kwang-soo said, “Not you”, then Han Hyo-joo emphasized, “I’m an MZ”. When Lee Kwang-soo announced, “Then I’m also an MZ”, Han Hyo-joo said, “Oppa, how can you be an MZ? You’re from Generation X”. In response, Lee Kwang-soo got embarrassed. He laughed again and said, “Is this something that she should be so angry about?”
