“Wonderland” Premieres In June, Anticipation Rises For Spendid Cast With Tang Wei, Suzy & Park Bo-gum

The long-awaited film “Wonderland” by director Kim Tae-yong confirmed its release date and introduced the first trailer

On April 23rd, “Wonderland” released still cuts and the first trailer, announcing its premiere on June 5th. “Wonderland” is a movie about people meeting their loved ones again through ‘Wonderland’, a video call service that reenacts people who have died using AI.

The still cuts attract attention for showing the characters portrayed by Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo-gum, Jung Yu-mi and Choi Woo-shik using the ‘Wonderland’ service, raising fans’ curiosity about the story that they will tell after facing their loved ones again through the service.

The trailer introduces the worldview of “Wonderland”, where people can reunite with their loved ones anytime, anywhere even after being separated from each other forever, as an advertisement for the ‘Wonderland’ service and shows several moments of the characters sharing their daily lives through video calls. The movie depicts a warm sensibility in the world where people live with AI.

“Wonderland” has been highly anticipated as it’s a movie by director Kim Tae-yong, who has gained recognition from critics and audiences for his solid and delicate directing skills in “Family Ties”, “Late Autumn”, etc.

Especially the movie stars various top actors, from Tang Wei, who has proven her unrivaled presence and intense acting in “Lust, Caution”, “Late Autumn”, and “Decision to Leave”, to Suzy, who has established herself as an acting idol with representative works such as “Architecture 101”, “Anna”, and “Lee Doona!” and Park Bo-gum, who has captivated fans in Asia with “Reply 1988”, “Love in the Moonlight”, “Record of Youth”, etc.

In addition, Jung Yu-mi, who impressed viewers with her diverse acting in “Train to Busan”, “Kim Ji-young, Born in 1982”, and “Sleep”, and Choi Woo-shik, who emerged as a trustworthy actor with his performances in “Parasite”, “Our Beloved Summer”, “Killer’s Paradox”, etc. There will be a special appearance by actor Gong Yoo, known for his box office success with “Train to Busan”, “Goblin”, and “Squid Game”.
