On January 4th, a video was released on singer Tak Jae-hoon’s YouTube channel “No Back Tak” featuring actress Kang Ye-won as a guest. In this episode, Kang recalled an anecdote about her seeing Tak Jae-hoon at the concert hall.
Kang Hye-won recalled Tak Jae-hoon telling her that her face “changed his face a lot” openly at the time, saying, “I was so offended that I didn’t go to the afterparty.”
Tak Jae-hoon asked, “People say which part of your face has changed?” and Kang answered, “My face looks different because I did the Medial Epicanthoplasty procedure.” This procedure is a surgery that increases the horizontal length of the eyes and narrows the distance between the eyes by removing the Mongolian fold covering the front part of the eyes to create a cool and clear impression.
She added, “A close female friend was looking at my picture at Cyworld and said, ‘Oh, is this you? I think I need to do it again at this time.’ That’s what happened.”
