IU Prepared Handwritten Letters & Gifts For Her Concert Guest RIIZE 

Recently, the YouTube channel of RIIZE uploaded a new video titled “RIIZE 2024 IU Concert Guest Behind”. The video shows behind-the-scenes footage of RIIZE’s guest appearance at IU’s concert “2024 IU H.E.R World Tour Concert in Seoul” in March.

When RIIZE members entered the waiting room to prepare for their stage, they found a letter and a shopping bag. Surprised by the unexpected gift, they wondered, “Is this by IU herself?”, “She wrote a card for each one of us?”, etc.

Anton, who is close to IU because of the female singer’s friendship with his father Yoon Sang, said, “She did ask me, ‘what would be a good gift for you guys?’”. Wonbin looked at the camera and said, “I’ll keep this with me forever”, expressing his gratitude towards IU. 

IU prepared turnable speakers as gifts for RIIZE members. Upon seeing the speaker, Sohee commented, “I’m sure it will be of big help to RIIZE’s music making”.

RIIZE and IU also met each other face-to-face. The members handed over RIIZE’s official merchandise bag as a gift in return. She said, “I got three each. You can choose black or white, whichever one you want”. Anton and IU also reunited after seven years. IU praised RIIZE’s performance, saying “I saw the rehearsal, you guys are so good”.

After completing the challenge of performing at IU’s concert as guest, Sungchan confessed, “Before I entered the K-pop world, I grew up listening to IU songs. It’s been a big influence on me to have this career as a singer. It’s such an honor to perform at the concert of IU whom I respect so much”. Anton also shared, “She’s such a pro at work. Maybe RIIZE in the future..”.
