A new transformation of Yoona in “Big Mouth” has begun.
On July 29th, MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Big Mouth”, which digs into the unfiltered side of the privileged class stained with a huge conspiracy, aired its first episode.
Through “Big Mouth”, Girls’ Generation’s Yoona took on an acting challenge in her first noir drama. She plays Go Mi Ho, a nurse with outstanding beauty and bold personality. She supports her husband Park Chang Ho (Lee Jong Suk) and helps him become a lawyer.
In particular, in the first episode, Go Mi Ho declared a divorce from Park Chang Ho because he lost a lawsuit every day and made a foreclosure on their house by writing a private loan.
At the end of the episode, Park Chang Ho got involved in a car overturning accident, raising the tension to the highest level and foretelling the desperate struggle of Go Mi Ho to clear her husband’s name. Viewers’ curiosity about the next episode is maximized.
Showing off natural acting, Yoona realistically portrayed a wife who blames her husband for their debts, the sweet side of the newlyweds’ life, as well as her suffering while drinking soju. It made viewers look forward to her future performance.
“Big Mouth” was off to a good start with a rating of 6.3% in the metropolitan area and the highest real-time rating of 7.8%, according to Nielsen Korea. The second episode will be broadcast on MBC at 9:50 p.m. KST today (July 30th).
