YG Entertainment posted a cover video of BLACKPINK’s “STAY” sung by BABYMONSTER’s Asa, Haram, Rora and Chiquita on its official channel on March 25th.

A snippet of the cover was previously shown through BABYMONSTER – ‘Last Evaluation’ EP.3. The video has since been creating a buzz among global fans.

Despite being a rookie group that has not officially debuted yet, BABYMONSTER’s outstanding vocals and emotional range are already evident. Haram’s powerful and stable live performance captured the essence of the song’s emotional complexity.

BABYMONSTER Rora

Rora completely immersed herself in the music, creating a new style with her smooth and mellow voice that left a deep impression on listeners.

Chiquita added richness and depth to the harmony with her clear and pure voice, complementing the string sound perfectly and gradually building up the song’s mood.

Asa added a new rap verse to the original song, diversifying the listening experience. Her relaxed facial expressions and gestures provided a unique charm, captivating the audience while she effortlessly navigated the melody with her rhythmic and sensual rapping.

Following Team A’s “Gone,” Team B also received feedback that they showcased a unique musical color and infinite potential that only BABYMONSTER could display. As all the prospective members demonstrated their “all-rounder” abilities in vocals, rap, and visuals, global fans’ expectations continue to rise.
