The members themselves described the track as “full of energy and highly addictive,” emphasizing that while their previous releases focused on intense charisma, this comeback is centered around a song that “everyone can enjoy dancing to.”

According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER is already breaking records. The mini album sold 387,871 copies on its first day, marking a 1.5x increase compared to their previous release WE GO UP and setting a new personal best.

Their dominance extends beyond physical sales. The “CHOOM” music video shot straight to No.1 on YouTube’s Worldwide Trending chart upon release and has already surpassed 14 million views, while also ranking among the most-viewed videos within 24 hours.

The group’s comeback live broadcast further highlighted their popularity, attracting 1.57 million views within just one hour, reinforcing their reputation as rising “YouTube queens.”

On global music platforms, BABYMONSTER continues to show strong performance. CHOOM topped the iTunes Album Chart in 15 regions and claimed the No.1 spot on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, demonstrating their expanding international reach.
