Actor Yeo Jin Goo mentioned his special friendship with BTS member Jungkook.
Yeo Jin Goo and BTS Jungkook are known as close friends in the entertainment industry. As Jungkook often sent coffee trucks to Yeo Jin Goo whenever he filmd a new work, netizens raised questions about how the two got close to each other.
In a recent interview with Herald POP at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Yeo Jin Goo confessed his special affection for Jungkook.
During the interview, Yeo Jin Goo said, “We got to know each other a long time ago through an acquaintance”, adding “Since we’re the same age, we became close easily”.
He continued, “Strangely, there are not many celebrities born in 1997. At the time when we first met each other, Jungkook didn’t have any actor friends, and I also didn’t have any idol friends. We were even happier to find out that both of us were born in 1997”.
The actor confessed, “Jungkook was already a superstar at that time, but he is even more famous now. That’s why I’m very careful about mentioning our friendship. He’s a very nice friend who always supports me.”
Meanwhile, Yeo Jin Goo’s new film “Ditto” is currently in theaters. It depicts the story that happens when Yong, a college student living in the year 1999, and Mo Nee, who lives in the year 2022, happen to communicate with each other through an old walkie-talkie.
