‘Woo Young-woo’ and ‘Squid Game’ win two awards at the Asian Content Awards 

The ENA drama ‘Strange Lawyer Woo Young-woo’ and Netflix’s original ‘Squid Game’ took two crowns at the 4th Asia Contents Awards.

The Busan International Film Festival announced on the 8th that ‘Extraorinary Attoney Woo‘ won the Best Content category.  ‘Extraorinary Attoney Woo’s main character, Park Eun-bin, won the Best Actress Award and won two gold medals.

Netflix’s “Squid Game” also won two awards, with actor Park Hae-soo winning the male supporting actor award along with the technical award.

The best actor award was received by Ryohei Suzuki of the Japanese drama “Running Emergency Room,” which aired on TBS and Disney+, and the best writer award was jointly won by Wang Shiyao Shui and Yang Yi-soo of “Octagonal Jeong Mi-moo.”

The Best Supporting Actress Award went to Sora Ma for ‘This Land is Mine’, the Best New Actress Award went to Baoxiang for ‘Flower and Birds Overnight’, and the Best New Actor Award went to Ryusei Yokohama for ‘The Newspaper Reporter’.

The Asia Content Awards is an award ceremony for excellent TV series, OTT and online content across Asia, and was held simultaneously online and offline on the same day.
