“Wonderland” Park Bo-gum “When I first read the script, Suzy came to mind”
Actors Suzy and Park Bo-gum expressed their feelings about acting together for the first time
On the morning of May 9th, the press conference of the movie “Wonderland” was held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, attended by Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo-gum, Choi Woo-sik and director Kim Tae-yong.
Park Bo-gum said, “I always met Suzy as an MC at the Baeksang Arts Awards, but it was the first time we acted together. When I first read the script, Suzy came to mind. We shared stories while acting and created the narrative of Jeong-in and Tae-ju nicely.”
Suzy added, “‘Wonderland’ portrays the relationship between Jeong-in and Tae-ju as friends-like and comfortable lovers. As we became close while doing the readings together, the rapport we built translated well into the film.”
“Wonderland” tells the story of the virtual world “Wonderland”, a simulated place for people to reunite with a person they may not meet again by using artificial intelligence. It is directed by Kim Tae-yong, known for “Family Ties” and “Late Autumn”.
The film is set to be released on June 5th.
