On March 18th, Lee Do Hyun‘s interview video was uploaded on magazine Cosmopolitan Korea’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Lee Do Hyun was asked, “Which character showed satisfactory styling among the roles you have played so far?“
Lee Do Hyun said, “‘Hotel del Luna’ is a historical drama and I wore traditional hanbok. It’s not easy to wear it on a regular basis. Wasn’t that charm very unique?“
Lee Do Hyun added, “I think it’d be nice to have one or two modernized hanboks to wear in the summer.“
He then received the question “What is the best scene and best line of Joo Yeo Jeong (played by Lee Do Hyun) in ‘The Glory’?“.
Lee Do Hyun replied, “Actually, I think the best line is ‘I’ll be your executioner’. I remember that line was the most difficult, and that scene was like a big mountain to me.“
Lee Do Hyun then asked the editor, “In fact, I haven’t watched Part 2 yet. What are the famous scenes?“
The editor mentioned the scene where Joo Yeo Jeong runs into Kang Yeong Cheon (played by Lee Moo Saeng) in his doctor’s gown.
Lee Do Hyun said, “That scene was really fun. Yeong Cheon changed his makeup completely. Before that, he filmed another work with me.“
He shared, “He looked like he was beaten up by someone. It was that bad. Back then, seeing that helped my acting a bit more.“
The editor said, “My mom thinks you will appear again.“
Lee Do Hyun responded, “You mean Part 3? It’d be good to appear in Part 3. I’ll give no comment.“
Meanwhile, “The Glory” depicts a desperate revenge plan designed by a woman whose soul was broken due to the experience of school violence during her childhood. Part 1 (8 episodes) was released in December last year and Part 2 (8 episodes) was released on March 10th.
