Lee Do-hyun & Go Min-si’s Reunion in Male “Hotel del Luna”
Lee Do-hyun and Go Min-si may be teaming up again this time under the direction of the acclaimed Hong Sisters (Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran), the writers behind beloved dramas like “Hotel Del Luna” and “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.”

On April 7, it was reported that Netflix has secured the broadcasting rights to an original work, tentatively titled “Grand Galaxy”, by the Hong Sisters. In particular, “Grand Galaxy” will reportedly feature the story of a male version of the 2019 drama “Hotel Del Luna” starring IU and Yeo Jin-goo.
Meanwhile, previously on April 2, a media outlet reported that Lee Do-hyun has been offered a role in the Hong Sisters’ upcoming fantasy-romance drama. His agency, YUEHWA Entertainment Korea, responded, “It is a project that he received a [casting] offer for.”

Meanwhile, Go Min-si’s agency Mystic Story had already confirmed back in January that the actress is preparing for the Hong Sisters’ new project. If finalized, the drama would mark Lee Do-hyun and Go Min-si’s third collaboration after “Sweet Home” series and “Youth of May,” as well as Lee’s second time working with the Hong Sisters following his role as Go Chung-myung in “Hotel Del Luna” alongside IU.
Cha Eun-woo Declines Role After Reported Consideration
Initially, Cha Eun-woo was also in talks for the same drama, raising fans’ anticipation for a high-profile lineup. However, according to an industry insider speaking to Sports Chosun on March 11, “Cha Eun-woo was positively considering the Hong Sisters’ new project but ultimately declined. Though discussions were serious, both sides have now moved on.”

Cha’s decision has caught attention, especially as he is currently filming Netflix’s “The Wonder Fools”. His choice not to immediately commit to another drama afterward has led to speculation about his future scheduling and potential shift in priorities.
A Highly Anticipated Reunion in the Works?
With Lee Do-hyun currently serving in the Air Force military band and set to be discharged on May 13, fans are hopeful that this project could mark his official post-military comeback. His on-screen chemistry with Go Min-si in past works has left a lasting impression, and the possibility of them reuniting under the Hong Sisters’ unique storytelling style has sparked major buzz.
While the title, genre, and full cast of the drama remain under wraps, all eyes are on whether Lee Do-hyun and Go Min-si will accept the offer and if another star-studded K-drama hit is on the horizon.
