“Veteran 2” to start filming in December, as confirmed by actors Hwang Jung Min and Jung Hae In 

Filming for “Veteran” sequel is about to begin. 

The 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards Ceremony was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul on November 25th. The event was hosted by Kim Hye Soo and Yoo Yeon Seok.

On this day, Hwang Jung Min and Jung Hae In went on stage to present the Best Film Award.

Jung Hae In said, “I’m going to meet the audience in a new work with my seniors. I already feel nervous and excited.”

In response, Hwang Jung Min said, “I am more thrilled and nervous. There is a movie called ‘Veteran’ which was released in 2015. ‘Veteran 2’ has been in the works for almost eight years and filming will start this December.”

He added, “I will have a lot of fun myself, with Jung Hae In and other actors. Fighting.”

Director Ryoo Seung Wan’s “Veteran” was released in 2015 and became a box office hit by recording 13.41 million admissions in cinemas.

While it was previously reported that Jung Hae In was considering appearing as a villain in the sequel following Yoo Ah In in the first movie, fans’ expectations are rising as Hwang Jung Min has confirmed the production of “Veteran 2”.
