Park Seo Joon’s role in the movie “The Marvels” has been unveiled.
On December 5th (local time), the American media channel ComicBookMovie.com quoted Hollywood source Daniel Richman and said, “Park Seo Joon takes on the role of Captain Marvel Carol Danvers’ (Brie Larson) husband, Prince Yan.”
Prince Jan is reportedly the leader of a music planet where everyone communicates by singing.
Previously, rumors circulated that “Captain Marvel” sequel “The Marvels” would have a strong musical element. As Park Seo Joon’s role has been revealed, this rumor seems to be true.
The media added, “Although some music scenes have appeared in previous Marvel films such as ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, this film will be the first to include characters with music and singing.”
The specific plot of “The Marvels”, which is scheduled to be released in July next year, is still under the wraps. However, it is known that the focus will be on the three female heroes, Carol Danvers, Monica Rambo, and Kamala Khan, and that Park Seo Joon will serve as a liaison between them.
Park Seo Joon debuted in Bang Yong Guk’s music video in 2011 and made his face known through the drama “Pots of Gold”. Since then, he has become a leading actor in Korea, gaining great popularity through dramas such as “Fight for My Way,” “Itaewon Class,” the movies “Midnight Runners” and “Parasite.”
Park Seo Joon confirmed his appearance in “The Marvels” in July last year.
