Actor Yoo Seon Ho expressed his feelings about joining KBS2’s representative variety show “2 Days & 1 Night” as the youngest member.
On the afternoon of December 13th, Yoo Seon Ho had an interview with Korean media Wikitree at their building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul and discussed various topics.
Here, he said, “I haven’t watched the broadcast of ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ yet because I have a busy schedule. I have only watched short clips from the episode.“
“I’m grateful that the members are so nice, friendly, and meticulous. I think I’m a man of fortune. There are many good people around me,” he added.
Previously on the December 11th episode of “2 Days & 1 Night”, Yoo Seon Ho appeared as the youngest member for the first time, and attracted attention with his unique style of entertainment. In particular, the scene where he got shocked over tasting fish sauce for the first time in his life, is highly discussed.
It is also known that Yoo Seon Ho is close with Na In Woo, who is a fixed cast member of “2 Days & 1 Night” and is from the same agency, Cube Entertainment.
When asked if Na In Woo knew about him joining “2 Days & 1 Night”, Yoo Seon Ho answered, “Among the people in our company, only my manager and vice president knew. I hid it until the article was published. I wanted to fool him so much.”
The actor then added, “In the past, In Woo and I lived in the same dorm. I joined as a trainee, while In Woo was already an actor”. He also invoked laughter by revealing that Na In Woo exuded a “unique feeling”.
Yoo Seon Ho, who was born in 2002, is 21 years old this year. Meanwhile, the oldest member of “2 Days & 1 Night” is the 45-year-old actor Yeon Jung Hoon. Regarding this age gap, Yoo Seon Ho said that he often feels comfortable and that he considers this one of his strengths. “I want to do well since I want to continue working with the brothers (other cast members of ‘2 Nights & 1 Day’) in the future”, he added.
Yoo Seon Ho also said that he thinks other members will love him with such a huge age gap, and that he believes he can approach them without any discomfort.
When asked if he felt any pressure about joining “2 Days & 1 Night” as the youngest member, Yoo Seon Ho confidently revealed that he felt no particular burden. “Of course, I was worried, but once I went to the set, I felt relieved because everyone did so well. The members are so kind and warm”, he said.
Finally,Yoo Seon Ho expressed his determination to establish himself as an entertainer, saying, “Anyway, since it’s a variety show, I have to show an interesting side of myself, but I don’t think I’ll lose my image. I’ll show myself as I am, and I’ll find fun in it. I think I’ll have to work hard.”
