Yeonjun’s Basic Info
Yeonjun was born in Seoul, but spent his middle and high school days in Seongnam, South Korea. He is known to be an only child.
Yeonjun graduated from the Korean Arts High School, and is now attending the Broadcasting and Entertainment Department of the Global Cyber University.
Yeonjun’s Career
Before TXT, Yeonjun appeared on San E and Rainia‘s “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness” stage back in the 2014 Melon Music Awards (2014 MMA). He auditioned for Big Hit Music with BTS’s “Boy in Luv”, and trained for 5 years – the longest amongst all Big Hit artists.
Before Big Hit, Yeonjun was actually a trainee at Cube Entertainment.
On January 10, 2019, Yeonjun was introduced as the 1st member of TXT after his teaser video was published on YouTube. The group debuted on March 4, 2019 with their first mini album “The Dream Chapter: STAR”.
In December 2020, Yeonjun was announced to be making a cameo in the K-drama “Live On”. In October of the next year, the male idol was featured on ENHYPEN’s “Blockbuster”.
Yeonjun, alongside fellow TXT member Taehyun, was also featured in Salem Ilese’s single “PS5” in 2022.
The same year also has Yeonjun revealed as the new MC for Korena music show “Inkigayo”, alongside actress Roh Jeong-eui and actor Seo Bum-june.

According to the idol himself, his major charm is his monolid, he likes old man jokes, and is the only member who can cook.

In January 2024, Yeonjun became the talk of town after his cover of SHINee’s Taemin’s “Guilty” at the awards ceremony Golden Disc Awards went viral.
As a results, various mixed comments about the entire situation emerged, with many agreeing that Yeonjun’s fans were going “too far”.
Dating Rumor
In 2023, netizens uncover various alleged “dating hints” of Yeonjun and LE SSERAFIM’s Yunjin, drawing attention. Particularly, a Sportify account believed to belong to Yunjin was mentioned, and the avatar of this account is an artwork that seems to look like Yeonjun and Yunjin and bears a similar style to Yunjin’s ““I ≠ DOLL” MV. Additionally, old moments between the two also resurfaced, raising speculations.
The companies of both Yeonjun and Yunjin, however, remained silent regarding the rumors.
