TXT will be appearing at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs).
On August 31st, the ‘MTV VMAs’ announced via official website and other channels that TXT will be performing. This is the first time TXT will be attending this award ceremony since their debut, and they have been nominated in two categories: ‘PUSH Performance of the Year’ and ‘Best K-Pop.’ They have also been selected as one of the performers.
Especially notable is that, just 4 years and 6 months after their debut in March 2019, TXT has become the K-pop group with the shortest period of time after debut to perform at the ‘MTV VMAs.’
On the upcoming September 12th, TXT will unveil their new song on stage at the ‘2023 MTV VMAs,’ which will be held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA. Brazilian pop star Anitta will also be part of TXT’s performance, raising worldwide expectations.
The new song, to be revealed on this stage, is a preview for TXT’s comeback with their 3rd full album ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,’ scheduled for release on October 13th. The performance at the award show is expected to further heat up the atmosphere for TXT’s comeback.
The ‘MTV VMAs’ is one of the four major music award ceremonies in the United States, along with the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and American Music Awards.
