In particular, as a fixed cast member of the TV program “Dancing Queens on the Road”, BoA has been touring the country alongside Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyori, and Hwasa.

“Dancing Queens on the Road” is a program where some of the best female solo artists in Korea come together to perform a nationwide tour.

Through this program, BoA has been showcasing various stages from memorable performances to hit songs, which only herself can deliver.

In particular, she received a lot of attention during the 7th episode, which aired on July 6th, where the cast members exchanged their hits.

At the time, BoA covered “Invitation”, one of the most popular songs from “Korea’s Madonna” Uhm Jung Hwa. Although it was a concept she had never attempted before since her debut, the female star delivered a stage beyond expectations, receiving a standing ovation from the audience.

On the other hand, when she was an elementary school student, BoA was casted by SM Entertainment after following her brother to an audition.

With talents nurtured since kindergarten, BoA impressed both the casting officials with her dancing and Lee Soo Man with her singing, creating a unique and legendary figure within SM.

BoA also did not forget her duty as a student even after joining SM. In fact, as a trainee, she did her best in school and was elected as a class officer and student council president.

She even ranked 1st in the entrance exam and entered middle school as the top student.

After her debut, however, BoA had to travel around the world due to her busy schedules, and

couldn’t attend school regularly. Nevertheless, she passed the High School Equivalency Examination in 2002 and the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT – Korea’s university entrance exam) in 2003.

While honing her skills, BoA gained tremendous popularity, earning the nicknames “Korea’s Britney Spears” and the “Star of Asia”, and became a representative icon of Korea as well as the Hallyu Wave.
