The conflict between the late Choi Jin Sil’s mother, Jung Ok Sook, and her granddaughter, Choi Joon Hee, is getting more severe.
On July 11th, The Fact reported that Choi Jin Sil‘s mother, Jung Ok Sook, was urgently arrested on July 9th after she was reported to the police by her granddaughter, Choi Joon Hee, and was investigated as a suspect on charges of breaking into the house.
According to reports, Jung Ok Sook visited apartment G in Seocho-dong, Seoul on July 7th after receiving a call from her grandson Choi Hwan Hee (Z.flat), who was not at home due to work. Apartment G was purchased by Choi Jin Sil to live with her family until last year.
After Choi Jin Sil died, the apartment was inherited by Choi Hwan Hee and Choi Joon Hee under joint names. Currently, Choi Hwan Hee lives there, and Choi Joon Hee lives in an officetel separately. Jung Ok Sook lives alone in a residential area at the foot of Cheonggyesan Mountain.
However, Choi Joon Hee, who came into apartment G with her boyfriend around 10 p.m., argued with Jung Ok Sook, “This apartment is now my house that has nothing to do with you, so please leave immediately,” and eventually, Jung Ok Sook was reported for breaking into the house.
In an interview with The Fact, Jung Ok Sook said, “After going through a tragic incident at a very young age, her (Choi Joon Hee’s) personality went wrong.“
However, Choi Joon Hee claimed it is not just a housing invasion problem, but because she has been in conflict with Jung Ok Sook over property issues since she was a minor and has lost trust in her grandmother.
Choi Joon Hee said in an interview with Wikitree, “Since I was a minor, my maternal grandmother has paid my brother’s tuition with my share of property. When I was a minor, she took 300 million won from my account, saying that she had to renew the interior to return apartment G to monthly rent.”
Choi Joon Hee also revealed that the reason why Jung Ok Sook was arrested was because she cursed and pushed the female police officer.
When the conflict between Choi Joon Hee and Jung Ok Sook reached its peak, Choi Hwan Hee eventually stepped up to reveal his stance. Choi Hwan Hee’s agency said, “From what we’ve been watching our artist for the past three years, Jung Ok Sook has done her best in the role of parents to Z.flat, and Z.flat has been living under her love and care.“
