The “torture-like” games of “Physical: 100”, which is called “real life Squid Game”

New challenges in “Physical: 100” posed increasing difficulties, to the point audiences were unable to take their eyes off.

“Physical: 100”, which is considered a “real life Squid Game”, has gained huge attention around the world. With only 1 episode left to the program, the race to win 300 million has become more intense than ever, and challenges in the 7th and 8th episode have certainly hiked in difficulty, leaving the competitors sweating and nervous as they begin the race.

Physical 100

One game has all contestants hanging on a complicated beam. Whoever holds on the longest will gain the opportunity to choose the one they will compete against in the next quest.

Then, in one round, contestants are divided into pairs, with each person in the pair then having to lift a huge 50 kg ball. Among each pair, who held the ball for the shorter time will be eliminated, whilst the winners moved onto the next round.

Afterwards, the remaining competitors are divided into 10 teams, each of which has to build a bridge and cross it, before pouring sand into a hole. If the bridge is poorly built, the team will face a great obstacle.

Another mission also has teams of 10 pulling a ship that weighs 1.5 tonnes to a goal. Then, the team that took the longest would be eliminated. Meanwhile, a “resurrection game” was also carried out, where each eliminated competitor gets the chance to return by holding onto their “sculptures”.

Finally, in the semi-finale, episode 8 introduces 4 quests based on mythologies, with intense difficulty levels. Game 1, which is titled “The Punishment of Atlas”, has competitors holding up a big rock until only 1 remains.

Then, in Game 2, “The Fire of Prometheus”, contestants run on a repetitive obstacle course to touch a torch. Only the fastest one out of several rounds is allowed to advance.

In Game 3, “The Wings of Icarus”, participants have to climb a rope and keep themselves up. Only one that holds on until the very end is safe from elimination.

Finally, Game 4, “The Tail of Ouroboros”, forces players to continuously run and tag whoever’s running in front of them, until there’s one left untagged. Sunmi’s dancer is eliminated in this game due to his previous injury.

Now that there’s only one episode left of “Physical: 100”, expectations are higher than ever. Audiences can’t help but guess the identity of the final one standing through all rigorous challenges and win the hefty prize.
