The story behind the number 7 on BTS members’ friendship tattoos?

J-Hope and Jungkook are the last two members of BTS to reveal their group tattoo.

Jungkook recently shared a photo on his Instagram story on June 18. In the released picture, Jungkook is looking in the mirror and doing a V pose. However, the thing that caught the attention of netizens was the tattoo of the number 7 engraved on his neck behind his ears.

BTS, which debuted in 2013, has been active for 9 years with 7 members, including Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

BTS said they wanted to get a friendship tattoo in a video filmed last month and released on the official YouTube channel ‘BANGTANTV’ on the 14th of last year.

When Suga said, “I want to do it in the least visible place,” Jimin replied, “You can do it on the sole of your feet.”

J-Hope came up with the idea, “Do you want to do number 7?” and Jimin said, “Jungkook and I are the only ones who get tattoos, so we’ll think about it together.”

RM said, “I wish it was literally a dot or a line,” and J-Hope laughed, saying, “If anyone sees it, it must have been drawn with a ballpoint pen.”

Then Jimin emphasized the meaning of friendship tattoos, saying, “Anyway, we do it ourselves.” After that, the BTS members continued the discussion by sharing ideas for making meaningful friendship tattoos.
