Songsun debuted as the leader and main vocalist of the girl group “TRI.BE” in February last year and is loved for her outstanding dance skills and attractive voice.
TRI.BE is a multinational girl group composed of 4 Koreans, 2 Taiwanese, and 1 Japanese. The group was quite an issue overseas when they debuted.
Songsun has become a hot topic even before her debut with the vocal skills she has accumulated throughout her nine years of training as an idol trainee. It was belatedly known that Song Sun recorded most of the guiding tracks for girl group EXID’ songs and received attention from her talent.
Songsun became famous after she was revealed to be a cousin of Girls’ Generation Yuri. In an interview, Songsun said, “Yuri didn’t recommend me debuting in a girl group because she knew that life in the entertainment industry was difficult. However, when she saw me running towards my goal of debuting as a singer, she cheered me on, saying, ‘I think you can do well.’ Thanks to her, I was able to debut like this.”
