A female feminist mentioned “the reason why men pay for everything when dating” on a podcast.
Recently, a video titled “Feminists’ Miracle Logic” was shared around TikTok.
In the video, the woman presented the opinion that “it is right for men to pay for everything” regarding men and women’s dating expenses.
She continued, “Do I even have to explain this? I’m a feminist, so isn’t it possible for me to think like this?”
She added, “A man has to pay for the first meeting between a man and a woman.”
In response to the woman’s remarks, the host asked, “Insisting on gender equality is the keynote idea of feminism, but why is it right to demand ‘traditional masculinity’ that men should pay for the first date?”
The woman then replied, “I don’t know. I’m just saying what I think”.
In response to the woman’s answer, the man next to the MC said, “Then just enjoy things as you want”.
Meanwhile, according to a survey conducted by Kyunghyang Newspaper in July last year with the intelligent content startup agency Underscore to find out young people’s perceptions of gender, only 5.5% of men in their 20s and 30s agreed to support feminism, but up to 40.3% of women, about 7 times higher, supported that.
