Dreamcatcher’s growth explains why they are defined by the term “elevator idol”.
Dreamcatcher held a media showcase in celebration of the release of their 7th mini album “Apocalypse: Follow us” at the Grand Hall of the New Millennium at Konkuk University in Seoul on the afternoon of October 11th (KST).
On this day, JiU said, “The rock genre may not be popular at first, but I think that we have promoted a lot of rock music and our songs have come to be received by the public as well.”
When asked to introduce a word that would define Dreamcatcher, JiU chose “elevator idol”. JiU added, “We seem to be a group that grows step by step.”
Regarding the goal of this album, Siyeon said, “We won first place with Maison, so it would be nice if we win first place again this time, but I don’t think we’ll be disappointed if we don’t.”
Dreamcatcher’s “Apocalypse: Follow us” will be released at 6 p.m. KST on October 11th.
