MC Yoo Jae-seok will host a new dating reality show.
According to a report by OSEN on October 11th, Yoo Jae-seok will be the host of tvN’s new entertainment program “Skip” together with Jeon So-min and Nucksal.
“Skip” will be directed by PD Jung Chul-min, who has been in charge of directing various shows featuring Yoo Jae-seok, such as SBS’s “Running Man” and tvN’s “Sixth Sense”.
Then, what kind of dating reality show is it?
YTN Star reported that “Skip” would be made as a dating program in which 4 men and 4 women gather in one place to find their partner under the concept “One-day 4:4 Blind Date”.
Accordingly, “Skip” tries to differentiate itself from existing dating reality programs by letting the cast find their love in the form of a meeting rather than living together.
In an interview with the media, PD Jung explained his intention and title “Skip”, “For those who don’t have time to live together, I believed it would be very nice for them to have a blind date, which is a more pleasant way”, adding “At a blind date between men and women on the same day, the cast change their partner during their talks by pressing the ‘skip’ button.”
“Skip” will begin broadcasting this December.
