Kim Na-yeon PD expressed her gratitude towards BTS.
On Jan 11th, PD Kim Na-yeon conducted a written interview to commemorate the end of Mnet’s “Street Dance Girls Fighter“. Regarding BTS‘ interest, she said, “It’s an honor for the ‘Street Dance Girls Fighter’ to entertain BTS’ members during the self-quarantine period. It makes me feel good as a producer to see that Jungkook continued his interest by naming Jo Na-in (Turns)’s YouTube channel.”
Then she continued, “Thanks to BTS’ interest, interest in Korean dancers seems to have increased not only in Korea but also around the world, which encouraged dance programs’ producers. I would like to take this opportunity to thank BTS.” She added, “In addition to BTS, I would like to thank all the stars who were interested in ‘Street Dance Girls Fighter’.”
Earlier, BTS constantly revealed that they were “Street Dance Girls Fighter” viewers. RM mentioned on the fan community platform Weverse that “‘Street Dance Girls Fighter’ is super fun”. When crew Amazon got eliminated, he expressed his regret by a post saying “Oh my Amazon”.
Jungkook shared a snippet of “Street Dance Girls Fighter” on his Instagram story along with the caption saying “It’s so fun”. He also wrote a congratulatory message to crew Turns, referring to the names of the six members who advanced to the final live broadcast.
