Social media has once again proven to be a double-edged sword, creating both heartwarming connections and shocking deceptions. Recently, Chinese streamer Yu Zhiqing shook the online community after exposing a male fan’s shameless “love scam” that quickly went viral.
The man, who introduced himself as “Bentley Bro”, frequently boasted about owning a luxury car while showering multiple women with flirtatious messages. His words were almost copy-pasted: “Beautiful girl, I like you a lot. Can I sit next to you when you sing? I’m single, I’m a good guy, don’t make me sad.” These tactics weren’t limited to attractive influencers—he even targeted women using anime avatars.

The truth unraveled during a fan meetup organized by Yu Zhiqing. To everyone’s surprise, the so-called Bentley owner showed up with two women. He was soon seen sharing fruit and sitting intimately with one, while the second woman distanced herself before leaving the gathering.
Despite this, the man continued messaging the second woman afterward, asking whether she was seeing other men and even claiming he would feel “heartbroken” if she did.
The streamer didn’t hold back her frustration. She sarcastically remarked: “If he really owned a Bentley, he wouldn’t freeload at a party I paid for. He would’ve said, ‘I’m the Bentley owner, let me cover this. This amount is nothing compared to a single bolt on my car!’ Instead, he just went around flirting with every girl there.”

Her livestream calling out the incident drew hundreds of thousands of views, quickly turning into one of the hottest discussion topics online.
The community erupted in anger, condemning the man’s hypocrisy and shamelessness. Many applauded Yu Zhiqing for exposing his “scripted” flirting tactics, while others warned young women to stay alert to similar fake personas online.
This scandal is a stark reminder that not everything on social media is what it seems. Behind the glamorous façades, some individuals craft false identities for selfish gains.
