“Squid Game” Lee Jung-jae, Jung Hae-in and more chosen as GQ Korea’s Men and Women of The Year
Lee Jung-jae, Simon Dominic, Jung Hae-in, Ryu Jun-yeol, Yoo Tae-oh, and eight leaders of <Street Woman Fighter> were selected as the men’s magazine GQ Korea’s 2021 Men and Women of the Year.
These artists also took cover pictorials for the December issue of the magazine. Actor Lee Jung-jae, who caused a global syndrome with the Netflix drama “Squid Game,” showed his experience as Gucci’s global ambassador. Through the film “Hunt,” which he directly scripted and directed, the actor delivers a sincere story. He also sent a warm message of support to the character he portrayed in “Squid Game” as an audience.
Simon Dominic, who appeared in various programs such as MBC’s “Hangout with Yoo,” TVing Original “Transfer Love,” Mnet’s “High School Rapper 4,” and “Street Woman Fighter,” made an honest confession about the past year. He also expressed his ambition to release an album next year under the name of Simon Dominic, not Jung Ki-seok.
Jung Hae-in, who played the main character of Netflix’s original series “D.P.,” picked “Hard Work” and “New Challenge” as keywords of the year for him. His JTBC drama “Snowdrop” is set to be released in December.
Ryu Jun-yeol has recently completed filming “LOST”, which is considered a well-made drama of 2021. In addition, he is scheduled to appear in various movies, such as “Alien” (directed by Choi Dong-hoon) and “The Owl” (directed by Ahn Tae-jin), to be released in 2022.
With his pure curiosity about films, Yoo Tae-oh has shown his creative and diverse acting in his home country and abroad. Yoo Tae-oh completed expanding his acting through his debut movie “Log in Belgium” and the Hollywood film “Past Lives” this year.
The 8 leaders of Mnet’s “Street Woman Fighter”, who were chosen as ‘Women of the Year’, showed off their charms by perfectly portraying high-fashion styles. They also shared their playlists consisting of songs that raised them up from the bottom, the first song that awakened their interest in dancing, and favorite songs of year-end 2021.
