BTS won “Favorite Pop Duo Or Group” at AMA.
The “2021 American Music Awards (AMA)” was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Nov 21st (local time).
BTS, Maroon 5, Glass Animals, Silk Sonic and AJR were nominated in the “Favorite Duo Or Group” category, and the winner was decided to be BTS.
BTS expressed their gratitude, “It is thanks to ARMYs that we have won this award for 3 consecutive years. ARMYs are our universe.”
RM showed his affection, “It took 4 years to receive this trophy. It’s even more meaningful to us. A small Korean boy band united with a love for music. It would not have been possible without ARMYs.”
Meanwhile, BTS is also aiming for “Favorite Pop Song” and “Artist Of The Year” categories.
After winning “Favorite Pop Duo/Group,” BTS continued their victory by winning “Favorite Pop Song” with “Butter.” In their reception speech, member Jimin said, “Thank you ARMY. Thank you AMA, thank you everyone. We love you all so much. Thank you.”
