The post seems to mean Jung Ho-yeon’s first stage at the Women’s collection fashion show held at the Orsay Museum in Paris, France at 10:30 p.m on March 7th (Korean Standard Time). However, some Korean netizens interpreted the actress’s post as a supportive message for a specific presidential candidate because it was published exactly on the day of the 20th presidential election and criticized her.

Jung Ho-yeon’s post was spread on various online communities, such as clien, fmkorea, etc., and drew divided responses from Internet users. Some said, “You should be careful on days like this”, “You can’t post these things on the election day”, etc. Meanwhile, others commented, “She posted it out of joy. Please don’t overinterpret it”, “Don’t take everything politically”. Acknowledging the controversy, Jung Ho-yeon deleted her Instagram post.
