Industry experts revealed their rankings for Korea’s most notable actors and actresses to look forward to in 2023.
On January 20th, Korean film magazine Cine21 drew attention by announcing their ranking of Korea’s most notable actors and actresses to look forward to in 2023. The ranking, which was compiled from a survey of 64 experts and workers in the video content industry, revealed Son Seok Gu as the most notable actor to look forward to in 2023.
In 2nd to 4th positions, respectively, were Park Seo Joon, Koo Kyo Hwan, Lee Do Hyun, and Song Joong Ki/Lee Jung Jae (jointly).
Meanwhile, Park Eun Bin took first place among notable actresses to look forward to in 2023. Following her is Kim Tae Ri in 2nd place, Han So Hee in 3rd place, and Song Hye Kyo in 4th place. Sharing 5th place are Kim Hye Soo and Honey Lee.
In 2022, Son Seok Gu perfectly portrayed the role of killer Kang Hae Sang in the movie “The Roundup”, which attracted 10 million audiences.
In addition, he made a strong impression on viewers with excellent performances in successful dramas “D.P” and “My Liberation Notes”.
On the other hand, Park Eun Bin received rave reviews for her outstanding acting skills after starring in the movie “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” and the drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”.
