It was said that cast members of “Vincenzo” discussed the series’ 2nd season at a recent wrap-up party paid for by Song Joong Ki.
On December 14th, the cast members of K-drama “Vincenzo” gathered together, after over 1 year since the series ended. In particular, Song Joong Ki, Jeon Yeo Been, Kim Hee Won, and many more, were recorded having a good time at this belated wrap-up party.
tvN’s “Vincenzo” revolves around Italian mafia lawyer Vincenzo (Song Joong Ki), who came to Korea and later collaborated with Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Been), another lawyer. The 20-episode series first aired in February and concluded in May.
“Vincenzo” achieved great popularity with a peak viewership rating of 14.6%, and the relationship between cast members and staff was strong. However, due to COVID-19, there was no wrap-up party.
Now, one and a half year later in 2022, the production crew and actors of “Vincenzo” soothed the belated regret with a wrap-up party at a meat restaurant in Seoul. Footage at the party has also been released, drawing attention.
In one of the published videos, Song Joong Ki can be seen saying, “Why are so many of you here? Don’t you have work to do??”, making the entire restaurant burst into laughter. Actor Jo Han Chul later revealed that Song Joong Ki and the director paid for the party.
Another video showed Song Joong Ki and his co-star Jeon Yeo Been singing together and showing affection by hugging and standing side by side.
Furthermore, when there was a request for “Vincenzo” season 2, Song Joong Ki asked, “What about the deceased?” At this, shouts of “Reincarnation” bursted out from all corners, causing the entire party to laugh.
On the other hand, in Song Joong Ki’s on going K-drama “Reborn Rich”, the actor’s character was reincarnated into the past, making the reincarnation joke even more hilarious.
The wrap-up party ended in a friendly atmosphere, and drama fans, who heard the news a day later, responded enthusiastically and left comments such as, “I hope to see the chemistry of Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Been again,” and “I’ll binge watch Vincenzo for the first time in a while.”
