Actress Song Ji Hyo, who has been in conflict with her agency, revealed her position that a decision was made after much deliberation.
According to TV Report on April 25th, Song Ji Hyo‘s side mentioned Song Ji Hyo’s decision to terminate her contract with her agency, Uzu Rocks, after 6 months, and said, “How tough must it have been for her to make such a decision after 20 years of acting career? This is the first time such a situation has happened. We can’t explain the details, but Song Ji Hyo made a decision after enduring so much.”
Meanwhile, Uzu Rocks claimed, “There is no influence on other artists regarding the lawsuit with actress Song Ji Hyo. We don’t know whether the settlement payment has been made, but there’s no need to worry. We decided to continue together.”
Earlier, it was reported that Song Ji Hyo had informed her agency Uzu Rocks of the termination of her exclusive contract on April 14th and was preparing a lawsuit related to settlement payments.
In response, Uzu Rocks issued an official press release on the 24th, where they said, “We acknowledge the agreement with Song Ji Hyo on the termination of the exclusive contract”, adding, “Due to the initial expansion of the company’s business, we were unable to pay attention to the specific and important aspects that should be provided to the actors.
