The singer of the hit song “To Dear Mom” has passed away.
According to Korean media reports on November 10th, Choi Sung Bin passed away on November 9th. The specific cause of his death is not revealed. His funeral will be held at 5:30 pm KST on November 11th. The burial site is reportedly the Seoul Metropolitan City Sublimation Center.
Choi Sung Bin received a lot of attention and love for his debut and at the same time, his most well-known song, “To Dear Mom”. The song became a massive hit in Korea as it recorded sales of 150,000 albums at the time of its release.
Before his debut as a singer, Choi Sung Bin first made his name known by composing a song for MBC’s “Our Heaven” in 1991. In the mid-2000s, he formed a group called F&F. He was famous as a composer and album producer for popular singers such as Sung Si Kyung, Jewelry, and Y2K.
