Singer Shim Shin’s daughter & KISS OF LIFE member Belle wins composer award for making LE SSERAFIM’s song

Belle, daughter of singer Shim Shin and member of rookie the girl group KISS OF LIFE, won an award as a composer.

On July 14th, Belle was announced as the winner of ‘Proud Korean Grand Prize’ composer award at the 2023 Korea Best Brand Awards held at Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Belle participated in writing and composing the title song “UNFORGIVEN” of LE SSERAFIM’s first full album, shining as a K-pop producer and drawing keen attention in Korea and overseas even before her official debut. She once again gained recognition for her outstanding music talent by joining the lyrics writing and composing of  KISS OF LIFE’s debut title “Shhh” and her solo song “Countdown”.

In particular, Belle’s father Shim Shin appeared at the event to receive the award on behalf of his daughter, who could not attend due to her group activities. Showing infinite love and support for his daughter’s debut at KISS OF LIFE’s debut media showcase on July 5th, Shim Shin proved that he passed on his extraordinary music DNA to Belle.

Through her agency, Belle also expressed her feelings about winning the award, saying “I’ve been working hard just because I love music. It’s my honor to receive such a big award that I don’t think I deserve. Taking this award as a motivation, I will work even harder in the future as KISS OF LIFE member Belle and as a musician.”

Belle’s group KISS OF LIFE is carrying out various activities to promote their first full album “KISS OF LIFE”.
