SHINee’s Taemin transferred to public service due to depression, raising rumors of being bullied in the military

Currently, fans are extremely worried about the mental health of Taemin (SHINee).

On January 14th, SM Entertainment announced that Taemin (SHINee) will be transferred from active duty to a social service worker due to worsening symptoms of depression and anxiety disorder. The youngest member of SHINee will now support the military band as an additional member.

The male idol enlisted at the end of May 2021. During the past time, he has received psychological treatment and counseling, but the symptoms of depression and anxiety disorder are getting increasingly worse. Therefore, he will carry out the remainder of his military service duties as a social service worker. The company also apologizes for making fans worried and says that they will help Taemin with his treatment and recovery.

This information makes fans shocked and worried for Taemin. Before enlistment, Taemin was always cheerful and showed no signs of mental health problems. However, recently, SHINee members kept saying that they were worried about Taemin, sparking rumors that the male idol was being bullied in the army.

On The Qoo, an anonymous teammate revealed that when Taemin arrived, the soldiers lined up to ask for the male idol’s autograph. When Taemin was eating, dozens of people were staring at him and his teammates whispered in each other’s ears as the male idol walked past.

This has raised concerns over Taemin’s mental health. However, this is just an unconfirmed rumor, no one knows exactly why Taemin’s mental state became worse. Currently, fans have continuously sent kind words of encouragement, hoping that the male idol will get better soon.
