Actor Shin Seung Ho will appear in the movie “Omniscient Reader”.
Recently, multiple movie officials told Sports Chosun, “Shin Seung Ho is coordinating his schedule after receiving a casting offer from the movie ‘Omniscient Reader’.”
“Omniscient Reader” depicts the story that begins when the main character Kim Dok Ja tries to save the world from changing like the content of the novel he reads. It is based on a popular web novel of the same name that has been serialized since February 2018.
“Omniscient Reader” will be produced by Realies Pictures, the production company of “Along with the Gods”, which achieved 200 million admissions. Director Kim Byung Woo of “The Terror Live” will hold the megaphone for this movie. The project is currently being prepared with the aim of beginning filming this year.
Shin Seung Ho was offered the role of Lee Hyun Sung, a supporting character in the novel Kim Dok Ja reads. Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Soo Bin received offers to appear in “Omniscient Reader” and are reviewing positively. Interest in the work heated up as the news of Shin Seung Ho’s joining was reported.
Shin Seung Ho debuted in the 2018 web drama “A-Teen”. Afterwards, he left a strong impression by challenging his first soldier character through Netflix’s original series “D.P.”. In addition, in wavve’s original drama “Weak Hero Class 1”, he played the leader of a group of delinquents, showing his strong presence even in a short amount of screentime. In tvN’s drama “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow”, which recently ended, he portrayed a weighty yet lovely crown prince in three dimensions.
