Jeonghan will not participate in SEVENTEEN’s official activities for the time being to recover from ankle surgery
According to SEVENTEEN’s agency Pledis Entertainment on December 14th, Jeonghan had been receiving treatments for the injury to his left ankle but the ankle pain worsened and he was diagnosed as needing surgery. As a result, the male idol underwent ankle surgery on the morning of the same day. The surgery ended successfully and he is now recuperating.
Regarding Jeonghan’s activities, Pledis stated, “We believed that it was in the artist’s best interest to prioritize his recovery and rehabilitation above all else at this time”, adding “Therefore, it will be difficult for JEONGHAN to participate in official activities for the time being, including the upcoming SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO JAPAN Fukuoka concert and the ‘FOLLOW’ TO ASIA concerts in Bangkok, Bulacan, and Macao. We will do our very best to support Jeonghan’s treatment and recovery so he can meet the fans as his healthiest self again.”
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN released their 11th mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” in October.
